Grigo3 Tage, über 150 TänzerInnen, 700 Besucher und zahlreiche internationale Gäste – das war Flavourama 2015, die Streetdance Battle der Extraklasse in Salzburg (Austria). Nun steht die 8. Ausgabe vor der Tür und auch in diesem Jahr gehen die drei Organisatorinnen wieder einen Schritt weiter und setzen neue Akzente.Erstmals werden nicht nur, wie üblich, 16 Hip Hop Profis (Great Eight) zu den Battles eingeladen, 2016 wird auch in der Kategorie House mit 8 Größen unterschiedlichster Nationen aufgetrumpft. Das kulturelle Tanzwochenende findet von 7. bis 9. Oktober 2016 statt und auch in diesem Jahr wird bei Flavourama Internationalität großgeschrieben.
Die Preselection am Freitag, den 7. Oktober, findet erstmals im Stieglkeller Salzburg statt - Tradition trifft auf Moderne. Bei den Main Battles am Samstag, 8. Oktober im Republic Salzburg „kämpfen“ TänzerInnen aus den verschiedensten Ländern um den Titel. Entschieden wird von drei Juroren aus Frankreich, Dänemark und einer House Legende aus New York City. Tanzinteressierte haben auch heuer wieder die Möglichkeit, sich in den Workshops, die am Samstag und Sonntag (8. und 9. Oktober) stattfinden, die eine oder andere Bewegung bei den Profis abzuschauen.
