Dance Fusion NYC is a premier group of New York dancers who have been key in the evolution and innovation of Hip Hop and House Dance Culture. These dancers are credited with the expansion and development of the culture throughout the world. With roots spanning back to the early days of hip hop, members can be seen in video's from artist like Diana Ross, jazzy jeff & the Fresh Prince, Jay Z, MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, LLCool J, Doug E. Fresh, Heather B, Ce Ce Peniston, Gwen Guthrie, Bonjour, Aretha Franklin, Pet Shop Boys, Mariah Carey, Faith Evans, Crystal Waters, Two In A Room, Doug Lazy, Criss Cross, Fall Out Boy, the amazing Michael Jackson and more. Members include Caleaf Sellers, Marjorie Smarth, Tony Sekou Williams, Shannon Mabra, Shannon Selby, Tony McGregor & Hiroyuki Suzuki.

Dance Fusion is a multi talented group of dancers that formed in New York City in 1997. Each member stands as an innovator and cultivator of underground street dance culture. Fusing a hip hop base into underground housedance culture, members have traveled the world teaching and evolving movement while sharing Hip- Hop and House Dance culture both here in the USA and internationally. They have served as judges for some of the biggest international street dance events (Juste Debout, Dance Delight, Funkin Styles Street Star, Dance Factor). These premier dancers of Hip -Hop and House Dance Culture continue to be innovators of movement while teaching at dance camps, presenting dance workshops and teaching at some of New York's elite dance schools (Peridance Capezio Center, Broadway Dance Center).they are greatly responsible for spreading many dance styles that have helped to evolve the house dance scene. These dancers have performed in music videos, dance documentaries, movies, stage and continue to share their knowledge of a cuture that has lineage to the Savoy Ballroom and Cotton Club. Performing with Artist such as Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Will Smith, LL Cool J,Crystal Waters,Special Ed,MC Lyte , Diamond Dee,CeCe Peniston and more, Dance Fusions members have traveled collectively and individually to share their knowledge of street dance culture and history.

Dance Fusion members have traveled internationally to spread there knowlwdge of urban street dance culture as well as helping individuals find their own voice in dance and movement in general. They have traveled to Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Japan, France, Hong Kong, Amsterdam and many other countries teaching dance workshops , and judging organized street dance competitions . Dance fusion has held Dance Workshops that host a collective of new York base and international students who have including the house style of dance to their repitior. While starting out at the historic Fazil's Dance Studio on 8th ave in the heart of the theater district, the members honed their skills and taught classes in a studio who hosted the likes of Legendary dancers such as Ben Vereen, and Buster Brown. They are now teaching at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Capezio Center in New York and Evolution Dance Studio in Hollywood CA as well as other independent studios in the New York area, across the US and abroad.

Dance Fusion thrives on performance, The stage is their playground. The unleashing of emotion brought on by music is the ultimate in freedom. To be able to express oneself through this art form is truly a gift. As a Collective and individually,they have had the pleasure of presenting pieces all over the world.
