Thinking back. The guy who threw this event was a visionary. The prize money and it's distribution, LL Cool J as host, a 12 part tv series covering the main crews, a tv channel, commentary, featuring some of the best of that era. Not everything was perfect but the whole thing was waaaay ahead of it's time. Shoutout to Mams.
