Dave Royster aka Superdave

Superdave is from the Bay area - Richmond, to be exact.
He has been a part of Housin' Authority since 1993 and for the past 10+ years he has been living in LA, working as a dancer and choreographer.
He has worked with International artists such as Gwen Stefani, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez, Backstreet Boys, Matt Pokora, Tyrese, Bob Sinclar, Beyonce and many more.
Also he was one of the choreographers on Justin Timberlake's Justified tour, on Chris Brown's Up Close & Personal tour, as well as a choreographer on Usher's most recent OMG tour.

He has appeared on TV shows like Dancing With The Stars, the VMA's, Soul Train Awards, BET Awards etc, and was also featured in the movie Dance Flick.

Since 2005 he has travelled the world teaching classes and giving workshops, and has judged a number of battles and dance competitions, such as Juste Debout, KOD, SDK, Funkin' Stylez, Battlehanics, H2R and The Week.

Superdave comes from an era of "biting is not okay!", which makes him very opinionated on the "dance fads" that keep taking over the dance world. Superdave believes in originality and creating something for yourself instead of copying everyone else.

Learning is detrimental and appreciating different styles and types of movement is important - however he will keep preaching originality and the importance of creating your OWN style.
