808 Breakers

The 808 Breakers is the most well-known Breakin’ (breakdance) crew to come out of Hawaii in the past 30 years. Starting out in the islands in 2006, The 808 Breakers have completed over a hundred professional performances locally and have been featured in notable events such as D.A.R.E. Day and Sunset on the Beach to promotions for Dis-N-Dat, 88 Tees, Japan Airlines, The Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and Jitter Rings.

Aside from their commercial success, The 808 Breakers have gone on to represent competitively in the worldwide battling scene from the Asian continent to the east side of the USA. While holding more than a handful of competition titles across the country, the majority of the members of The 808 Breakers currently teach dance and share their experiences with the youth in Hawaii, San Francisco, Seattle, and New York.
