Sophie Prehofer aka SoFly

With roots in Vöcklabruck (Upper Austria) and a base in Burghausen (Germany), Sophie Prehofer is steadily making waves in the Austrian breaking scene. And since the Red Bull BC One Cypher Austria 2025, one thing is clear: SoFly is here to stay.

As the only B-Girl in Austria mastering powermoves at this level, SoFly makes a bold statement. Her performance at BC One was more than just a battle – it was a preview of what’s still to come. With every round, she showcased not only power and technique but also expression, creativity, and a clear vision.

Beyond her identity as a B-Girl, SoFly is also a dedicated all-rounder, mastering various urban dance styles and sharing her knowledge as a dance educator in both group classes and personalized training sessions. She is also active in the scene as a rundown manager and event assistant – roles that demand not only organizational precision but also reflect the wide range of ways she positions herself within dance culture. Currently, she is pursuing studies in event management and choreography in the urban dance field – laying the groundwork to take on even more responsibility behind the scenes and help shape the future of the culture.

A central focus of her work lies in supporting women in breaking: through personalized coaching and training, she mentors young dancers (B-Girls) in the German-speaking region, emphasizing a holistic approach to physical and mental development – growth that also nourishes the soul. It’s not just about technique; it’s about developing a deep understanding of one’s body through targeted exercises in strength, endurance, speed, flexibility, and coordination, all tailored to the demands of breaking. Equally important to her is empowering dancers to build core confidence, clarity, and inner strength – both on the dance floor and in everyday life. In the long term, she also aims to support adult women on their journey into elite sports or professional show dance.
