On Friday, 11 March 2016 the "Castle Rock Battle" at the Johnny's in Oberndorf (Austria) took place for the second time and dancers from Germany, Austria and Rumania rocked together on the dance floor from 10.00 p.m. DJ Illicitrap from Germany supplied the audience and the dancers with good beats and Patrick Grigo aka Parrish took over the moderation of the battle. The jury for the 1vs1 All-Style-Battle consisted of scene giants such as Bboy Goofy from Serbia, Amok aka DJ Moooka from Serbia and all style dancer Jaro aka Monkey J from the Yang Spirit Crew from Burghausen (Germany).
Right in the beginning after the preselection the best 8 dancers staged an open exchange of blows in the classical "Best of 3" system. Here dancers usually have two rounds and if neccessary they get a third one, too. The brand-new system and8 Judge was used for the determination of the winner. Every battle offered not only great dance dynamics but also a lot of energy and motivated dancers. The first semi-finale battle was between Beat from Rumania and Rock'n'Rolli from Hakuna Matata from Innsbruck, which was closely won by Rock'n' Rolli. In the second semi-finale the titleholder Chris Cross won clearly against Bboy Blanco from Innsbruck (Austria) and thus he entered the finale against his challenger Rock'n'Rolli.
The finale between them was really thrilling and Chris Cross cleary lost in the first round against Rock'n'Rolli. However, the second round he could decide for himself and in the third round he sent his opponent from Innsbruck on the 2nd place. Chris Cross could successfully defend his title and was glad about the prize money of 200.00 €. In addition one of the participants "Che Che" from Innsbruck (Austria) celebrated his birthday that night.
