Red Bull BC One World Final 2018

For its 15th edition, Red Bull BC One, a global celebration of Hip Hop, returns to its origins. After the biggest cities on the globe, Zurich will host the biggest one-on-one battle for the first time since its creation on September 29, 2018. With a magnificent view of the snow-capped Alps on the horizon, sixteen of the world’s best breakers will go head-to-head to take the belt at the Hallenstadion in northern Zurich.

RISE OF THE B-GIRLS

Last year, b-girl Ayumi made history by being the first B-Girl invited to guest at the Red Bull BC One World Final. This year, we're taking the next step and are proud to introduce the Red Bull BC One B-Girl World Final. 16 of the leading ladies of breaking will be invited to compete and find out who reigns supreme to be crowned Queen of the B-girls.

This new B-girl battle is meant to be a display of the finest styles and skills that the international scene has to offer, and considering the unstoppable rise of the B-Girls, in numbers and skills, this battle should be must-watch part of this year's Red Bull BC One World Final. The first part of the BC One B-girl battle will take place on September 27, where dancers will battle out the round of 16 and quarter-finals. The semi-finals and all-important final will be held during the BC One World Final on September 29 in Zurich, Switzerland.

THE HISTORY

The first ever Red Bull BC One World Final was held in 2004 at the legendary cultural centre La Coupole in Biel – it has since become the biggest and most respected B-Boy event in the world. It consistently attracts the best breakers on the planet, giving them the opportunity to develop their talent and perform on a global stage. Since then, the championship has been touring the world with events in São Paulo, New York, Moscow, Paris, Nagoya and, last year, Amsterdam as well as other big capital cities.
