David Melendez aka D-Stroy

Universal Recording artist Grammy Award Winner, Miri Ben-Ari The Hip Hop Violinist, drafted D-Stroy to Perform live on Tavis Smiley, B.E.T.’s 106 & Park and D.L. Hughley’s Weekend at D.L.’s T.V. shows. D-Stroy and Miri Ben-Ari continue to tour the country. After acting in several NYU student films and Street film, one was picked up by Universal Pictures, where he brought his humor to the film. Look out for his directorial debut in a short film titled “Mr. Lopez” produced by Fat Beats Distribution. Shaqueal O’Neal and Allen Iverson both were entertained by D-Stroy for their separate birthday parties. He’s performe halftime show’s for most of the NBA’s and WNBA teams, including both Championship Games and All-Star Game’05 (Denver), '07 (Las Vegas),’08 (New Orleans) and ’09 (Phoenix). He’s worked the red carpet (Grammy’s, AMA’s, VMA’s, Vibe Awards), performed for the NY/LA fashion show’s (Christian Dior, Frye Boots) and for top US advertising agencies (Conde Nast, Chiat Day and Leo Burnett).

D-Stroy wrapped up a Sold out 37 city tour in the US with The Roots, Common and Talib Kweli. Along with Interviewing NBA Star's on Wrigley's NBA Jam Van Tour and Topps Cards/ EA Sports NBA Rookie game Challenge. The natural comedian is currently on Sirius/XM in the evenings, hosting with legendary producer DJ Premier/ DJ Eclipse and Afternoons on “Lunch Breaks” with Crazy Legs of the Rock Steady Crew. In Nov. he’s on tour performing in Europe. Catch him as a motivational coach on Season 11 of "Made" on MTV in Feb 2011. D-Stroy is currently featured on Marco Polo’s release on Duck Down Records, Q-Unique’s Album on Fat Beats Records, Pro-Sinnerz CD on Universal which went Gold and Snowgoons “Trojan Horse” LP.
