Cypher Adikts 2016

Welcome to the 5 Years Anniversary of Cypher Adikts (presented by Jeskilz) in Los Angeles, California (USA). On 16th and 17th Januar 2016 there will be the next edition with workshops, discussion panels, battles and of course jam sessions and cyphers! Read more about the program below.

Day1 - Saturday January 16th

Start: 9.00 p.m. | End: 1.00 a.m. | Think Tank Gallery
Cyphers all night featuring "LEADERS OF THE GROUND". Three of the illest females battle the bboy of their choice for a minimum of 5 rounds. Preserving the party atmosphere and cypher vibe of the anniversary has always been a priority so for that reason, the exhibition battles won't be announced, the music wont be interrupted and it will all happen spontaneously.

Day2 - Sunday January 17th

Start: 1.00 p.m. | End: 6.00 p.m. | Think Tank Gallery
"UNPLUGG" from your typical routine and come build with. Dedicating our second day of celebration to EDUCATION we're bringing some talented individuals for workshops and a Panel Discussion to share their perspective, knowledge and wisdom while creating an experience where the "student" and "teacher" can connect on a more personal level. As an extended way to also educate the up and coming generation we're hosting a 1vs1 Bboy/Bgirl cypher battle for cash and prizes. Secret judges will pick the Top 8 cypher catz (based on QUALITY not quantity) who will then battle in a 1vs1 to show everyone how it's supposed to be done and find out who the "Cypher Master" is.

Workshops (free):

• 1.30 p.m. | East3 (Keep it flowing) - Style Writing 101 (all ages)
• 2.00 p.m. | Keebz (Mind 180) - Style & Footwork Fundamentals (all ages)

Prelimination for the "Cypher Master":
• 1vs1 Breaking Battle Qualification
• TOP8 will be picked by secret judges

Penal Discussion:
Some invited speakers and guests will talk about the topic "Finding purpose and giving back to the community through leadership" with the spectators and the crowd. Invited talk guests are:
