This year has always been the most impressive year for me. Not only are there more and more foreign dancers participating, but also the countries that are handling the qualifications overseas are becoming more and more active and active! It seems that there is a little hope that the cooperation between the people and the government has the opportunity to develop the right to speak Taiwanese hip-hop in the world, even if we are only a small island country. Another reason that will always be in my heart, the soul of women's activity at the time - Marjory
In fact, before she came to Taiwanese women's power, I was not too familiar with Marjory. I only knew that she was a Hip Hop god, a legend in the dance circle, and we hardly ever talked in private. Unexpectedly, she saw me at the event and said to me, "Yo Bojin! How are you today? You feel good?" I was a little scared, and I replied, "You know me?" Marjory is generous He said cheerfully, "Of course! Bboy Bojin!" I didn't expect that a Hip Hop master would take the initiative to greet me, and he was so friendly and unpretentious!
Three months later, 2015.02.12 Marjory passed away due to cancer. This "Women's Power" was her last public performance/work in the world. Looking back, she still insisted on the course even though she was very uncomfortable in Taiwan. After teaching, we truly admired the will to Hip Hop's persistence, commitment, and cultural heritage. It is also because of this that many friends in the hip-hop circle hope to continue her spirit, like the warm sunshine, continue to shine on him/her and inspire more next generation. You/you may not know about female power, you/you may not know Taipei Bboy City, but these legendary classics will forever remain in our hearts!
