Rules

Registration:
Duos must register via and8dance. (CHF 10.00 per dancer, pay at Check-In)

Pre-Selection:
If more than 16 duos register, there will be a pre-selection round.
Each participant will have approximately 1 minute to showcase their freestyle.
The focus is on representing your unique style while also demonstrating musicality.
DJ Danji will play the music spontaneously.
A jury will evaluate the pre-selection rounds and choose the top 16 duos based on their preference.

Knockout Rounds:
The 16 selected duos will advance to the knockout rounds.
Matchups are randomly drawn to determine which duos will face each other.
Each dancer will have approximately 1 minute to perform (timed by the host).
The jury will decide which duo performed better, and the winning duo will move on to the next round.
This process continues up to the top 4.

Top 4 – Concept Round:
From the top 4 onwards, the battle becomes more challenging.
Duos must draw a theme or story from a hat and interpret it through dance, staying true to their style.
Both duos will dance to the same story, and the order of performance is randomly chosen.
The jury will decide which duo interpreted the theme better.

Final Round:
In the final round, each dancer will have 2 rounds to perform, showcasing their interpretation of the drawn theme.
The jury will evaluate both rounds to determine the winning duo.
The winning duo will receive a prize of CHF 400.00.
Second place gets CHF 200.00
