Red Bull BC One Cypher San Diego

The Red Bull BC One San Diego Cypher will take place in the heart of downtown at Luce Cielo on Saturday, May 14th. Hosted by SoCal cypher icon Luis "Lprad" Prado, these open prelims welcome breakers of all levels to register and compete as the search for the world’s best breaker heats up. The top two b-boys and top two b-girls from the event will advance to the regional cypher taking place in Austin on August 6th. This open cypher features by DJ Root and Eddie Styles (Full Force/Rock So Fresh), Flearock, and Lancer (Killafornia / The Calamities) serving as judges.

Red Bull BC One is the biggest and most prestigious one-on-one breaking competition in the world. Every year, thousands of breakers compete for a chance to represent their country at the World Final. 16 b-boys and 16 b-girls earn the right to enter an all-out battle on the Red Bull BC One stage, but only one will be crowned the champion. In 2022, the Red Bull BC One USA cypher series consists of 10+ qualifying opportunities for breakers across the country to earn their spot on the national stage.
