Red Bull Dance Your Style Portugal

Portugal will once again host one of the biggest street dance celebrations in the world, on July 3, where 16 dancers will dance for the title. The public decides who will represent Portugal in the world final.

The challenge is launched: 16 dancers will put their skills to the test and participate in the biggest international street dance competition. The winner will represent Portugal in the grand finale.

The meeting point for the National Final is at UBBO, in Amadora, and the dynamics are simple: two randomly chosen dancers compete head-to-head on the floor and give their all to show their best skills and win the round. So, you can expect to see different genres like hip-hop, popping, house, locking, among others, competing with each other. Unlike most street dance competitions, in Red Bull Dance Your Style the jury is the audience, which has a decisive role in the outcome of each battle. The sound is in charge of the DJ who will play sets of widely known songs, randomly for each round. The creative ability of dancers to perform and adapt their style to the rhythm of the sound will be tested as never before. Nothing is guaranteed and participants have to be prepared to listen to musical genres: from funk to pop music, rap, garage and even old-school classics.

In the end, the winner will be the one who managed to win over the crowd by his performance. Throughout the year, Red Bull Dance Your Style will feature over 60 events in over 30 countries, qualifying participants to compete in the World Finals, where all national winners will gather to crown the event's World Champion.
