Beat the Enemy 2022

A new edition of Beat the Enemy, the annual dance battle organized by students of the urban dance training in Utrecht, will take place on Sunday, May 29.

This year, Beat the Enemy is provided by students from class DA20, in collaboration with the Freedom Foundation (known for Freedom City Utrecht, among others).

“We notice that due to all the changes in the scene, there is a need to go back to the origins, back to the core of a 'good old jam'. With our edition of Beat the Enemy we want to show our gratitude for all the struggles that have gone into making this current scene possible for us.”

Beat the Enemy - Last Man Standing is a 2-vs-2 old school hip-hop/break battle. Both breakers and hip-hop dancers can register in this category. The music is provided by DJ Lukas Benjamin. He is known both nationally and internationally. With his broad knowledge and passion for music and dance, he always brings a good atmosphere to the dance floor.

Good music, a good atmosphere, lots of dancing and good food. In short, an edition you don't want to miss!
