Celje, the third largest Slovenian city, is located half way between the capital city Ljubljana, and the second largest city Maribor, and is just a stone's throw from Ljubljana - Maribor motorway. It is only 70 km from Ljubljana and 50 km from Maribor.

BY PLANE
Slovenian International airport is called Jože Pučnik Airport (http://www.lju-airport.si) and is located roughly 20 kilometers north of Ljubljana.

You will pass a few large shopping centers on your left (Merkur, Planet Tuš and City Center), continue driving straight and you will reach Celje old city center.
