House dance event that shows the love for this culture by encouraging people to educate themselves and learn as much as possible, exchange with each other and forget the pressure of being in a battle.

FRIDAY (17th of January)

Judges' workshop! It is a 4 hour workshop where all the Judges will be collaborating together in order to bring you one long workshop full of knowledge, challenges, great atmosphere and a huge amount of inspiration!

We do stand for togetherness and no separation, once you attend the workshop you are getting the whole package, 3 teachers - triple amount of knowledge,

Time: 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Location: 'G House' Dance Studio. Seskines str. 22a, Vilnius, Lithuania.

Get your stamina and mind prepared because you will need to stay FOCUSED and ENERGIZED throughout the whole time in the studio. THIS IS WHAT WE CALL A HOUSE DANCE WORKSHOP!

SATURDAY (18th of January)

House Dance Battle "PURE HOUSE - EUROPE" Vol. 2

ROUND 1: PRELIMS

Dancers will have 45 min - 1 h of open floor, where they will have to dance using one of the principals of House Dance - 'Stalking'.

Dancers are free to change the partner they are dancing with anytime and as many times as they want.

STALKING - Partner Mirroring principal. Meaning that dancers have to communicate and respond to each other's movements. It doesn't have many rules, so you are free to do anything, BUT you have to connect with the person you are dancing with, understand their intentions, listen to the music and enjoy the dance in general.

The DJ will spin for 45 min - 1 h without any breaks.

Selection process:

Judges will be walking/dancing/running around and watching dancers, if they see a dancer they want to put through to the battle they will jump in and start 'stalking' with the dancer that they want to see in the battle, don't get too excited as they might be just checking how you react to the situation! If it happens that one of them have chosen you - CONGRATULATIONS - you made it through to the next round.

Every judge will pick dancers by stalking with them and giving a LITTLE SOMETHING that shows that you made it through.

ROUND 2: 7 To Smoke

Top 16 will face each other in 2 groups of 7 to Smoke Battle

ROUND 3: Finals

Winner of each group will face each other in a Final round.

1st place - The winner will receive a cash prize + goodies and will be invited as a guest battler in the GREAT EIGHT in House Category in 2020 Edition of Flavourama Battle
2nd place - The runner-up will receive a cash prize + goodies

*No registration if you enter only the Battle, just show up and start dancing!

AFTER-PARTY!

Location: MADU (Dans). Islandijos g. 1, Vilnius
Time: 22:00 - 05:00
Price: 5Eur. cash only (free if you attended workshops or the battle)

If you register and pay before 03/01/2019, all weekend package would cost you only €50. (Workshops+battle).

After 03/01/2019, combo ticket will be €55.
